Today I had five aircons installed by Shane and the team at Tropical North Airconditioning. Our ducted system stopped cooling over two weeks ago, and we’ve been riding out an extreme heatwave since—so finally getting this done was a huge relief. From start to finish, Shane and his team were absolutely fantastic. In communication, Shane delivered a quote within a few hours, exactly as promised. We received reminders to move furniture, reminders for the arrival time on the day, and the admin team—Ellen and Hayley—were friendly, organised, and so easy to deal with. During the initial consult, Shane took his time explaining every available option, making sure we fully understood the differences and recommending the best long-term solution without any pressure. Choosing Tropical North was an easy decision. On installation day, the team arrived on time and had the entire job completed by lunchtime. Five split systems, four of which required tricky internal wall installs. Every installer on-site was professional, respectful, and genuinely joyful, which made the whole experience surprisingly pleasant. The workmanship is incredibly neat, with so much precision and care put into each placement. A team who can laugh together while still being focused and efficient says a lot about leadership, and it’s clear Shane has built an exceptional team environment. 12/10. I’m so impressed with Tropical North Airconditioning. As we have a VRV Airconditioning system with 4 interconnected units it wasn’t a straightforward fix, but these guys are knowledgeable and were able to identify and fix my issue, after sourcing parts that were not easy to locate. They saved me from a massive replacement situation and cost. Not only was their work 1st class, but the communication from the administration team was also fabulous.
